I Can’t Believe It’s Not Insulin
There is an unconfirmed rumor out there about a pending product with the FDA- it’s a food product like no other. A company who normally packages insulin for distribution to diabetics is hoping to enter the retail field. This company has found a way to legally deliver insulin through food.
The liposome delivery system is a novel approach to administering insulin for diabetics. Those who live with diabetes have to watch their blood sugar levels after a meal in the case that they need to administer insulin to stay at healthy levels of glucose in the blood. N.O. Treal Incorporated, the parent company behind the butter experiment, is trying to make insulin administration easier by supplying insulin directly through food.
“The hope is that ‘I Can’t Believe It’s Not Insulin,’ will be available on a grocer’s shelf near you… but if the FDA doesn’t approve for retail sales, the back up is to supply pharmacists across the U.S. with this amazing invention,” says its inventor Imad Ehimup.
